WE GOT NO CLASS, NO TASTE, NO SHIRT, AND SHIT FACED Uchiha Sasuke was never really a person to like school. As he was stuck forever at age seventeen, school seemed like something he experienced regularly. In all honesty, he looked like a student, and what would someone say if they saw a teenager walking around drinking, say, alcohol at bars? What was he supposed to say to that “well, I’m really one hundred and twenty five—except I look like I’m seventeen” like that was ever going to work.
Sasuke walked into school, late as usual. He preferred, however, to call it ‘fashionably late’ it matched his cocky personality more. That and every damn girl seemed to fall straight over themselves when looking at him. Way to boost yourself up, there, hotstuff.
Sasuke pushed aggressively past his fan community. Honestly, he was sure they had grown exponentially since yesterday. It wasn’t like they’d never seen a guy before. They just never saw a guy with the same beauty Sasuke had. Of course—and he’d admit it—he was totally hot. But fact was fact, and they were just all slobbery fangirls, not his type and not worth his time.
Actually, Sasuke wasn’t even sure he had a type. Every girl seemed to be another mangy girl trying to get in his pants. And boy what a great story that would be…
Sasuke shook his head to no one in particular. He stood at his locker for five seconds, rearranging everything inside at hyper-speed. The demon glanced at his phone, the screen was off, and reflected everything around him—except for Sasuke himself. Behind him, the demon could see his crazy fangirls and their drooling mouths. He sighed in disgust and turned the phone on.
Sasuke glanced at the time. Five minutes until homeroom was over. He hadn’t even bothered to walk into the classroom, if only to check in. Everyone knew that he was here, the damn secretary waved to him every fucking morning from the front desk. Even an ugly old bat like her was completely infatuated with him. Too bad even she was too young for him.
Sasuke rolled his eyes and leaned against the wall, sliding until he was sitting down on the ground next to his locker. He pulled a notebook out of his school bag and flipped it open to the last used page. The page was covered in mathematical notes; high, almost college level advanced calculus. Nothing Sasuke didn’t already know from his past high school experiences.
Naturally, Sasuke’s damned math teacher would give the class a short quiz every Monday. At least he had the weekend to study—not like he didn’t know any of that already. But Sasuke, being Sasuke, wasn’t going to waste his time.
He pulled out a piece of blank paper from the back of the notebook and began to scribble notes faster than human speed allowed. Sasuke paused once to run his hand through his dark hair, preventing it from falling back into his eyes. Sasuke scratched his forehead, wincing slightly as the loud bell rang, angrily calling students to class. The young demon watched as people rushed out of their homerooms, off to their first period class. Sasuke, on the other hand, endured the disturbing eyes of his fellow students as they watched him work on his math homework in the hallway.
He didn’t bother to pick up his work until three minutes after the bell had rung. He got up and looked quickly into his classroom. The majority of the students had settled down, and the teacher was passing out their quiz. Sasuke walked into the room.
“Fun, a test,” he purred in his usual drop dead sexy voice. Sasuke nodded to the teacher who gave him a ‘you’re late again’ look, then turned around on his heel and left the room.
Sasuke could almost see the shocked faces of his students, much less, his teacher’s screeching as she watched him leave. He just smirked as he made his way down the hallway, pausing to look at the announcement board that hadn’t been updated in a month or so. He normally wouldn’t bother himself with everyday activities, but first period Monday morning didn’t give him too many options, especially when he was skipping a quiz. His grade average wouldn’t suffer too much from that.
Sasuke sat down on a bench outside the nurse’s office and smirked. He lay back so he was lying down, and yawned. Naturally, demons didn’t have the need to sleep, but putting on a proper show for his fellow students was always important if his secret was to stay a secret.
Sasuke checked his phone. Of course, mommy would be texting, telling him to take it slow on his quiz. He growled, why did she have to act so much like a caring mother? His fingers glided smoothly over the keys as he texted her back, telling her not to worry.
The young demon sighed. He turned over so he was lying on his belly this time, and pulled a sketch pad out of his bag. He wouldn’t say he was a great artist, but life gets boring when you’re not a normal human, and the young Uchiha always found ways to amuse himself, even if it was dropping down in the social hierarchy to sketch or doodle in the back of his notebook.
It wasn’t like anyone was watching anyway… or were they?

((OOC: I do apologize if this post doesn't match up in size, but I'll make it good quality!)) Some people seem to think they always know what's best for you Their little minds try to create a world to keep you still It was rather early in the school day, and most students sat snugly in their classes. Most not including Aurikyo Nekura of course. The Demon Huntress had far better things to to rather than worry about homeroom. At the moment she was in the gym, training. It wasn't uncommon to find her there, wooden katana in hand. Once her brother was turned into one of them and killed their parents... she had a mission. A mission in which required immense training.
You see, she was the type of student in which could be a straight A student, but instead made just the average due to not having motivation for such things. When she was in class, however, she did most definitely baffle the teachers with her brains and always scolded her for skipping. She was a bright intellectual! What else could she be doing?
"Hyah!!!" a battle cry would ring from her, as she slashed at one of the many dummies. Despite there being guns and such, she much preferred traditional methods. She was a formidable foe, that much was certain.
As the bell screeched its annoying reminder, Aurikyo sighed and ran into the locker room to change into that god-forsaken school uniform (assuming there is one, if not then just jeans and a t-shirt). Slipping on her sneakers, she lazily tucked in the laces. Finally, she'd grab her bag and take off dashing out of the gym. There she would meld into the student crowd, walking towards her locker.
Tucking light brown locks behind her ear, she slowly did the locker combo. Throwing open the door, she looked at the organized mess as she liked to call it. Piles of books and papers, but she knew which was what. Tossing her bag inside, she grabbed a few papers, her cellphone, and her iPod. Though she wasn't up to attending class, she would turn in her homework. An earphone bud was placed into an ear, and music blared. Small strides took her quickly to her literature class, in which she simply handed over some papers.
"Ah! Miss Nekur-"
"I don't feel like class today, sorry," Aurikyo shrugged, taking some gum from her pocket and popping it into her mouth. Fellow peers would stare disapprovingly after her as she walked out with no other words to exchange. A couple people stared at her as she walked with no true destination, and she couldn't help but smirk. It was amusing and never ever got old.
That's when she would notice a large crowd of giggling girls. "Isn't Sasuke-kun so hot?!"
"I know, right?!"
Blue eyes would instantly roll, obviously not impressed. She would admit it, Sasuke was attractive to a point. But to fawn over him in such a matter? "Stupid girls need to grow up," she'd sigh to herself. Trying to pick a location to end up at, she contemplated the library. Aurikyo could use the studying excuse there. Or maybe she'd just go home. It's not like the school could call her parents.
Looking around, she'd notice a few skippers here and there but nothing big or strange. But her sharp eyes would then land upon the least expected sight of all, Sasuke Uchiha. She knew little about him, and didn't assume him to be a skipper. Then again, no one was perfect even if he seemed pretty close. Still, the fact that he was lying down and sketching baffled her. Didn't a pretty boy like him have something else better to do?
"Well, well. Wouldn't expect to see a popular kid laying on a bench and sketching," Aurikyo spoke, approaching Sasuke. She wasn't sure why, but she wanted to meet him. There was always something out of place about the guy anyway, from what she'd seen.
Turning off her iPod, she'd pull out the ear piece and shake her head slightly to loosen her hair. "You're.. that Sasuke kid right? Sasuke Uchiha?" she asked, even if knowing the answer. Small talk it was, but she had nothing else better to do.

{why didn’t i just walk away} Sasuke closed his eyes, listening to the beat of human hearts. He let his hand guide the pencil across the paper, not paying any attention to whoever was around him. Let the students look at him, let them watch him. He could care less if they gawked at him like he was on display at the zoo.
Sasuke let his hand flash across the page in blinding speed. Few people would actually be watching, so his demonic secret would be safe. Sasuke smirked, and near-silently began to hum a melody he could have sworn he herd that morning on the radio. It had been a strangely interesting song, and even Sasuke, who wasn’t one for music, enjoyed the beat and the lyrics.
The young demon paused his drawing for a second. He frowned. Something just wasn’t right. He flipped the pencil around and began to erase. He re-drew, erased, and re-drew over and over again until each tiny detail of the drawing was absolutely perfect. He sighed again; it still looked terrible; in his eyes, anyway.
Sasuke looked around, almost wary. Was anyone watching him? He felt that presence, how one would feel if they were being watched intensely. Sasuke turned to see a girl around seventeen years of age looking down at him. He frowned.
Probably just another fangirl he growled mentally.
"Well, well. Wouldn't expect to see a popular kid laying on a bench and sketching,"
Okay, so he wasn’t expecting that. He had braced himself for more of an ‘ooohhh look at Sasuke-kun sketching… he’s sooo hott!!!’ though the raven would have to agree, this girl already seemed to be more interesting—more mature—than any of his fangirls.
Sasuke turned to the girl, taking in her sight. She was blonde, and actually quite pretty, though Sasuke would never admit that. He looked at her with cold, onyx-colored eyes, which narrowed at the smell of stupidity all over her body. His nose twitched, but what could he expect of just another human child?
"You're.. that Sasuke kid right? Sasuke Uchiha?"
Sasuke rolled his eyes. Who didn’t know him in the feminine world? Of course, she was playing it dumb to get his attention. They were all the same. Sasuke growled lower than human frequency would allow hearing. However, he sat up and raised on perfect eyebrow at her.
“No, actually, I’m just a stranger impersonating him,”
he snapped, a little too heavy on the sarcasm. He growled a bit louder this time, but still too low for a human to know what he was. “yeah, I’m ‘that Sasuke kid’,” he snapped, quoting her description. Kid? Who was she to be calling him kid, he was at least twice her age, probably more. He packed his doodle back into his bag, and slipped his pencil into his pocket. Sasuke mentally rolled his eyes, but gave her a quick smirk, almost too fast for her to see. Some people seem to think they always know what's best for you Their little minds try to create a world to keep you still Aurikyo would watch him give her the look over, as was typical of any living being. His cold eyes seemed to narrow at her which caused an internal alertness about her. Being a trained demon hunter, it was only natural. Of course she had no idea about this boy being such, and the fact that so many typical human females were all over him did not help either. In fact, it was doubtful she’d find out soon.
Wrapping her headphone cord around the iPod again and again, her blue eyes focused at the precision she did such. It had to be directly in the center, and only there. She had an odd need to always do it. After finishing, the demon huntress shoved the iPod into her pockets and looked back upon Sasuke. As he spoke, Aurikyo frowned. Had she said something offensive?
“Could have fooled me. It’s not like I am part of your little fanclub. I can’t tell exactly who you are from a mile away, or up close,” she growled slightly, shrugging. If he wanted to be rude, then she would do such back. It’s not like she was trying to offend him!
Observing him as he placed away his doodle, Aurikyo rose a brow as he smirked but she simply ignored it. People did odd things, and she didn’t particularly care too much why. Glancing around, it seemed no one else was walking passed them now. Sighing, she ran her right hand through her hair. Maybe she shouldn’t have bothered with Sasuke.
“Anyway…” she trailed off, unsure as to what should be said now that things seemed rather awkward. Part of her was holding off her temper, which actually wasn’t coming on as bad as it generally would for some odd reason, and then the other part of her was truly full of completely curiosity about Sasuke Uchiha. Truthfully, she was intrigued by him, because obviously there was already so much more to him. Of course, she knew they weren’t starting off on the best foot right away. But it’s not like she could help her informal way of approaching people. It was just easiest for her.
Deciding to just suck it up and deal with her choice to talk to him, Aurikyo approached Sasuke slowly. Staring at him for a moment as though trying to analyze him, she suddenly stuck out a fair-colored hand. “I am Aurikyo Nekura,” she introduced herself, this time a slight smirk gracing her own facial features, “I hope we haven’t started off on a bad foot or anything.”
